Cindy Somers, Franchise Owner of Spherion in Champaign, IL, is a 1990 graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation. She returned to Champaign in 1992 to learn her father’s business. In 1999, she and Penn Nelson became partners and in 2011, Cindy became sole owner.
Cindy has offices in Champaign, Decatur and Charleston, IL. Spherion makes placements for over 1,000 employees annually in temporary, temp-to-hire and direct hire opportunities with local businesses. She has a wonderful family; Mike, Justin & Lainey. Cindy is very involved in the community, presently serving as a Board Member of the Don Moyer Boys & Girls Club.
